The Police forces foiled a terrorist attack on the polio team in Dera Ismail Khan. A group of terrorists attacked the polio team in Tehsil Daraban. But the police team with the polio workers acted timely and made sure all the members remained safe.
According to the police, five officers sustained injuries cross-firing, while one terrorist got injured in the retaliatory action. The terrorists managed to escape with one of their partners injured.
After the incident was reported, police and FC representatives reached the spot and cordoned off the area. Those injured were quickly shifted to the hospital.
