Survival and Competition: Twitter starts testing audio and video calling features for users

Twitter starts testing audio and video calling features

After facing competition from Threads and receiving constant criticism from users, Twitter has decided to lure users by initiating the testing of the audio and video calls feature.

Under this new project, Twitter has started testing video and audio calls as DM (Direct Message). It is expected that this facility will soon be available to users all over the world.

Andrea Conway, the designer of Twitter, has also created a new user interface. Although it is still under development, the interface is said to have easy access to audio and video calls. It features a call icon within the DM feed.

A few days ago, Twitter indicated to allow usage of the app for money transactions and had also obtained a license for it in three US states. The reason for this move is that Elon Musk wants to change the platform for many purposes and has used the word ‘everything app’ several times for this purpose.
