ISLAMABAD: On Monday, Shaukat Tarin took the oath as Finance and Revenue Minister, administered to him by President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi.
The ceremony was conducted in Aiwan-e-Sadar, where Governor State Bank Pakistan Reza Baqir, provincial and federal ministers, and senior government officers attended the event.
Tarin became a member of the Senate after winning the seat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local body elections.
He was previously serving as the adviser on finance to the prime minister after his tenure as Finance Minister had come to an end on October 16.
