“How can they [Sharif family] travel to Europe when the country faces such a serious crisis? Are they thick skinned or what?” said a visibly agitated 40-year-old Mohammad Kamil, a banker by profession.

“We are at the verge of default and they are travelling as if they have got nothing to do in the government,” added Raheel Mohtasib, another banker by profession.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan is facing a serious threat of defaulting on its loans owing to political instability. Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan, wants the current Pakistan Democratic Movement-led government to hold early elections in a bid to restore the political stability amid all the chaos.
