KARACHI: On Thursday, the foreign reserves of the State Bank of Pakistan showed discouraging numbers as the central bank released the week-on-week basis records. The foreign currency reserves on October 7, 2022, stood at $7,596.9 million, and after one week, it went up by just $0.3 million and recorded at $7,597.2 million.
Pakistan’s foreign reserves, including from banks other than SBP, are $13,250.9 million. During the month of September, the SBP foreign reserves reached $8.799 billion after receiving $1.166 billion from the International Monetary Funds.
