Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has left for China to discuss the regional situation of Afghanistan in a meeting wherein the neighbouring countries of the war-torn region will take part.
In a video clip, shared by the Associated Press of Pakistan on Twitter, Qureshi said that talks would be held on all fronts regarding Afghanistan. It is expected that multiple meetings would be held by Qureshi with his counterparts from China, Iraq, Russia and other participating countries.
The Foreign Office also issued a statement on the occasion, stating that Pakistan desired good ties with all countries and that the same was wanted by other countries regarding their ties with Pakistan. The statement also clarified that Pakistan wanted stability, development and peace in Afghanistan.
