Petroleum products’ prices could be hiked by Rs8-10/litre

ISLAMABAD: According to well-placed sources, the prices of the petroleum products could be hiked by Rs8-10 per litre all over the country. The sources also claim that the Prime Minister Imran Khan will announce the new petroleum prices in his address to the nation today.

The prices of petrol are expected to rise by Rs.9.60 per litre. High-speed diesel will see an increase of Rs.8.50 per litre.

Kerosene and light diesel could witness an increase of Rs.4 per litre, as per the sources. It is speculated that the new hike in prices is a direct result of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
