ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) announced on Sunday the Covid numbers for the previous day. As per the latest states, Pakistan reported 3,206 confirmed Covid cases in the past 24 hours, marking fourth consecutive day where the cases tally has remained below 4,000.
The NCOC also added that the country, however, recorded 41 more deaths. The tally of Covid deaths currently stands at 29,772. Of the total 55,304 tests conducted, 3,206 came back positive, recording a positivity rate of 5.49 per cent.
According to the NCOC, 1,623 patients remain under critical care. Pakistan had been under the grip of fifth wave of Covid, but as things stand and the data indicates, the country is on its way to recovery from the effects of Covid’s latest outbreak.
