Pakistan sees decline in Covid-19 cases

ISLAMABAD: The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) revealed on Thursday the latest numbers for the coronavirus in Pakistan during the last 24 hours. According to the NCOC, Covid-19 cases saw a steady decline in the number of the cases reported.

A total of 36,241 people were tested for Covid-19, of which, 639 tested positive. The reduced number had a subsequent effect on the test positivity rate as well, bringing it down to 1.76 per cent from 2.07pc a day earlier.

Meanwhile, Pakistan reported four deaths compared to six previously, with the number of critical care patients dropping to 707 from 722. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported three deaths, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, one.
