ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, at the launch of the Ehsaas Riayat Rashan programme on Monday, called Pakistan a cheaper state compared to other countries. He said that measures by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s government have abled the country to steer out from the inflation that prevailed in the rest of the world.
Mr Khan gave the reference of rising petroleum prices in the UAE and Dubai and said petroleum products are cheaper in Pakistan. Regarding the Ehsaas Riayat Rashan programme, he said that except Sindh, all provinces will receive health cards as the facility is launched in provinces with PTI’s hold. The prime minister said that through health cards, each family will get insurance up to Rs1 million.
Mr Khan said that Covid-19 had affected people across the world but PTI’s policies saved Pakistan from facing the worst conditions.
