ISLAMABAD: The Muslim world has taken a strong stance against the disparaging remarks about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) made by the Hindutva BJP leadership. A demarche has been issued by Pakistan to the Indian charge d’affaires to officially register the country’s protest here on Monday.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Iran have also condemned the issue and called the respective Indian ambassadors to officially record their complaint. Qatar has gone as far as to seek a public apology from India for hurting the sentiments of the Muslims all across the globe.
Prime Minister Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif took to Twitter to condemn the derogatory remarks stating that the world should take note and severely reprimand India.

Meanwhile, Narendra Modi’s pictures have been plastered on garbage bins all over Kuwait with tensions rising between the Middle East and India over the derogatory remarks about the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
