Nuclear forces put on red alert by Putin

KYIV: The military command of Russia has been ordered by President Vladimir Putin to put the nuclear forces on read alert. He ordered the troops on Sunday after the West claimed that the Ukrainian forces had repelled all the misadventures of the Russian army while trying to make their way into the big cities.

Global superpower, United States said that Russia’s attempts of escalation of war were completely unacceptable. It also said that Russia was not winning the battlefield quickly despite what could be described as the biggest assault on any European state since the World War II.

Rumours regarding talks between Ukraine and Russia were confirmed by both the Kremlin and the Ukraine’s President Office, confirming that the talks would be held at the border of Belarus and Ukraine. Meanwhile, Putin while speaking at the state television lambasted the Nato forces for imposing sanctions and did not take kindly to the ‘aggressive statements’ issued by Nato leaders.
