In a breakthrough in the Dua Zehra missing case, the police officials have confirmed that they have traced the missing girl and taken her into her custody. According to the police, Dua has married a man named Zaheer Ahmed. She will be transported to Karachi soon.
Earlier on Monday, the Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah said that the Sindh government had traced the allegedly kidnapped girl Dua Zehra but did not disclose further information, calling it a sensitive matter.
Dua was kidnapped on April 16 from the Al Falah area near her house. A team of Federal Investigation Agency, Cyber Crime Wing, Anti-Violent Crime Cell and local police are investigating the case. Last week, the Head of CCW of FIA Imran Riaz, a psychologist, technical analyst, and forensic expert, visited Dua’s house and contacted an online gaming platform, Samsung and Google.
The Sindh leadership has been under heavy criticism since the abduction case came under the limelight. Haleem Adil Sheikh, Opposition Leader, said that the police had not been fulfilling their duties properly.
