The META.O said they are incorporating new features in Instagram, which also includes a tool that enables digital collectables trade. The update will allow the content creators to move towards monetisation as users will be able to buy the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) for them. In the first phase, the new updates would be tested on beta users in the United States.
Meta is consistently working on new features to compete with TikTok as influencers attract money from the advertising sector.
The company will also launch a professional mode on Facebook, allowing creators to maintain both public and personal social media presence.
