Lynched victim Priyantha’s wife receives financial aid and salary from Pakistan

NAROWAL: The wife of the lynched victim of the Sialkot mob, Priyantha Kumara, has received $100,000 as financial aid and $1,667 in lieu of salary for the month of December by the Rajco Industries.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has lauded the business community of Sialkot for raising the $100,000 amount for the bereaved family. He also appreciated the efforts of the Rajco Industries and said that the factory would continue to transfer $1,667 every month for the next 10 years to the victim’s wife’s account.

As per the media reports, the amount of $100,000 was raised and arranged by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The body’s president has stated that the SCCI was taking appropriate measures and actions to reduce the likelihood of any such instance in future to make the workplace and the country a safe place for the foreign workers and businessmen.
