Lawmakers vow to not let Imran go scot free over the US conspiracy narrative

ISLAMABAD: Following the stunning U-turn by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan on his stance of the US conspiracy, several lawmakers took to the podium of the National Assembly to assert that they would not let Khan go without facing the music.

According to media reports, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Khawaja Asif has said that Khan would have to pay for what he has done. The Defence Minister was filled with rage and said that the matter was far from over and that Khan would be answerable for putting the prestige of the nation at risk.

Khan has been under fire from all corners for his remarks that he no longer blames the US for his ouster. His comments have ruffled the feathers of the sitting government with the latter blaming Khan for building a false narrative around his ouster from the government and risking the diplomatic ties with the US.
