India’s Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft successfully completed the soft landing on the moon on Wednesday. The success of the mission is a major achievement for Indian lunar exploration. The BJP government has been looking to spur investment in private space launches for a few years and this mission is an encouraging step for their planning.
Space Research Organisation (ISRO) updated that the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft landed on the lunar south pole. People across the country watched the development on television screens and prayed for the success of mission.

India made its second attempt to land a spacecraft on the moon, This attempt came after Russia’s Luna-25 mission failed to achieve landing.
