According to a report by Cricbuzz, the Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary and the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Jay Shah has ruled out the possibility of India touring Pakistan for the Asia Cup next year.
There were reports surfacing last week that the BCCI had no problem with sending over its cricketers to Pakistan if the Indian government allowed it to do so. The latest comments, have, however, laid bare the true intentions of the BCCI, which has avoided playing Pakistan due to the political tensions between the two countries.
Shah has also said that the BCCI would request to move the Asia Cup to a neutral venue so India could participate in the cup. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is yet to respond to the statement by Shah.
