Govt urges Imran Khan to ‘review’ his behaviour

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah addressed a press conference wherein he said that it was sad to see how the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chief and the former prime minister Imran Khan named people without producing any proofs.

Sanaullah said that it was concerning as to why it took so long to register a first-information report and who was leaking the confession videos of the alleged attacker. He feared that the virality of such clips could further instigate people into taking such actions in future. He urged Khan to review his security and behaviour to avoid any untoward incident.

In a separate speech, former PTI leader Noor Alam Khan condemned the attack on Khan but stated that the political leaders too should refrain from charging up the crowds to undertake such extreme measures.
