France and Belgium express concern over playing in India

MUMBAI: The International Hockey Federation (IHF) is facing issues over the arrangement for the Junior World Cup in India. The Covid-19 situation has put a question mark on the participation of multiple teams.

New Zealand and Australia have already forfeited the tournament, and now Belgium and France are skeptical about playing in India.

The IHF is yet to finalise the scheduling of the tournament. Meanwhile, none of the national umpires made it to the final 14-umpiring-panel.
