HOUSTON: A renowned member of the Pakistani community in Houston, US, Sadia Manzoor was killed along with her four-year-old daughter and mother by her estranged husband in a tragic incident on Thursday.
The couple was going through a rough divorce. According to The Islamic Society of Greater Houston, Sadia worked as a teacher at an Islamic school nearby. As per the lawyer who represented Sadia for her divorce proceedings till last year, she was not surprised because the husband had a violent history.
The murderer is also said to have allegedly abused the four-year-old daughter in the past. The law enforcement agencies did not name the victims and said that arrangements were being made to inform their families of the tragic incident in Pakistan.
