Mirpur: Azad Kashmir and Jammu experienced earthquake tremors in multiple areas of 2.9 intensity. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) reported that the epicentre of the earthquake originated nine kilometres northeast of Jund. The depth was recorded to be 35 kilometres. Till now, no casualty has been reported.
Earlier, the federal capital also felt earthquake tremors on September 5 of 5.4 intensity. NSMC reported that it originated from Afghanistan with a depth of 32 kilometres.
