DUBAI: According to the Indian Trade Minister Piyush Goyal, the Indian government has signed a deal with Dubai, according to which, Dubai will establish infrastructure in the Indian-occupied Kashmir.
According to the New Delhi government, parks, IT towers, multi-purpose towers, logistics centres, a medical college and a specialty hospital will be built in the disputed territory.
This is the first time any international investment is being made in a highly sensitive region.
“The world has started to recognise the pace [at] which Jammu and Kashmir are traversing on the development bandwagon,” said Piyush Goyal.
It is to be noted that no details of the agreement are yet made public.
