Dollar continues to climb; trading at Rs193.10 in interbank market

KARACHI: On Friday, during the interbank trade in the morning, the dollar broke all previous records and touched an all-time high of Rs193.

The Forex Association of Pakistan reported that the dollar gained Rs1.10 around 11:00 am and surged to Rs193.10, beating its last day close of Rs192.

For the past four days, the dollar has witnessed exponential growth. On Tuesday, the greenback stood at Rs188.66 and went on to reach Rs190.90 by Wednesday and closed at Rs192 yesterday.
