ISLAMABAD: The latest stats released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) indicate that the Covid positivity rate fell below 2 per cent for the first time in nearly two months.
According to the NCOC, 378 people tested positive for the virus, out of the total 29,216 people tested. The test positivity rate is currently hovering around 1.29pc, down from 2.01 a day earlier.
Nine more people lost their lives, taking the total death toll to 30,281. The number of patients on critical care support stands at 778 at the moment. The highest number of cases and deaths were reported in Punjab.
