ISLAMABAD: In a statement issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), cities that have met the 60 per cent benchmark of fully vaccinated people will see ease in Covid-mandated curbs effective from November 1.
Islamabad and parts of the Azad Kashmir have crossed the 60pc vaccination threshold as the two regions have recently recorded a week without Covid-related mortality.
In cities where the vaccination rate currently stands at 40pc or below, the progress has been deemed “low”. Pakistan has seen a drop in the Covid cases with a daily average of test positivity of 1.4pc.
