Country’s leadership in spin as energy crisis worsens

LAHORE: The entire leadership of the coalition government looks confused as the energy crisis continues to worsen with each passing day. Metropolitan cities like Lahore and Karachi are also facing worst load-shedding in the name of ‘load management’.

According to media reports, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered to ensure that the energy crisis was dealt with in an efficient manner to provide relief to the public from constant electricity outages.

In a bid to understand how the government plans on providing relief to the masses from load-shedding, the premier has sought report from the authorities concerned as to how highlighting the prevalent issues and suggestions to counter them.

Violent protests have also broken out in different parts of Karachi with the locals taking to the street to protest against the government and the authorities concerned for what they call the worst load-shedding ever.
