Special check-posts and 268 policemen to guard Murree

MURREE: After the horrific incident on the Murree Road earlier this month, the Rawalpindi city traffic police has taken the charge of the area to avoid such a situation in future.

According to details, special check-posts and 268 district policemen will look after the travelling situation in Murree. Timing for tourists has been reduced between 5:00AM to 5:00PM with up to 8,000 vehicles allowed at one time. Only drivers with a legitimate license will be allowed to enter the premises. The district administration has expanded the parking capacity to 3,500 vehicles while wardens will look after the process of removing snow.

The police officials have also urged to keep checking the FM 88.6 for traffic information and weather updates. They will also use social media pages to pass vital updates during the rush hours.
