Brothers killed in targeted shooting near Karachi’s Guru Mandir

Two brothers were fatally shot when unidentified gunmen opened fire on their vehicle near Karachi’s Guru Mandir area. Police suspect the attack to be a case of targeted killing.

Superintendent of Police Aleena Rajpar confirmed the details of the attack, stating that four assailants were involved. “The suspects fired multiple rounds at the vehicle. Unfortunately, two of the victims sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to them. The other two injured individuals have been transferred to the hospital for treatment,” Rajpar reported.

The attackers used a 9mm pistol, and investigators recovered 18 bullet casings from the crime scene, indicating the intensity of the assault. “We have collected all available evidence and have launched a thorough investigation into the incident,” added Rajpar.

Authorities are working diligently to uncover the motives behind this brazen attack and to identify and apprehend the perpetrators. The police have appealed to the public for any information that could assist in the investigation.
