KARACHI: Banks across Pakistan have decided to increase and impose new ATM transaction charges. According to the latest announcement, if the account-holder uses his/her bank’s ATM, there will be charges of Rs 3.13 on the transaction.
Earlier, people only had to pay transaction charges if they withdrew cash from another bank’s ATMs.
If a person makes a transaction through 1Link, they will have to pay an additional Rs4.69. Banks have also raised charges on using an ATM of a different bank. On every cash withdrawal from the ATM of a different bank, Rs23.45 will be charged.
