PTI leader Asad Qaiser raises concerns over legitimacy of incoming coalition govt

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Asad Qaiser has raised doubts over the acceptability of the incoming coalition government, questioning its credibility. He was speaking to the media here on Thursday.

Qaiser accused the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) of stealing its mandate, bribing and pressurising its workers to join forces with them. “Who will respect this government? If you would not respect the public opinion, how will this country move forward?” he asked.

He said that he would try to engage with the superintendent of the Adiyala Jail to allow him to have a discussion with the incarcerated former prime minister and the party founder Imran Khan. He said that he wanted to have a discussion with him regarding the ongoing alliances of the PTI with other political forces of Pakistan.
