The Directorate General of Immigration & Passports, DGIP, has made it a top priority to facilitate Overseas Pakistanis as per the vision of the Prime Minister of Pakistan. The DGIP launched a new version of the Online Passport apply Application to meet the urgent demand.
Online Passport Application Process:
The applicant must create a login account through an Online Application. After verifying the login credentials, applicants can begin to process passport applications. The applicant can choose to save their application at any time. The application is wizard-type, and applicants must fill in their details, including biometric and demographic data.
Expedite existing Passport Application
Conversion from Normal Application to Urgent Apply
Respected Pakistanis living abroad can now convert their online passport application from regular to urgent in the event of an emergency. They will need to deposit the difference online.

- Login to the DGIP Online Passport Application Portal.
- Use the highlighted option to convert your application from Normal or Urgent, as shown below.
Fee Payment
Once all requirements have been reviewed and approved and the necessary payment of the passport fee, the application will submit for further processing.
