Apple Inc has decided to stop the production of its new iPhone 14 Plus after it re-evaluated the demand for the mid-range device. The company has directed manufacturers to halt the production of components.
The decision came after witnessing the numbers from Canalys, a research firm, which stated that the global smartphone market has shrunk by 9 per cent during the third quarter of this year.
The iPhone 14 Plus was supposed to be a cheaper version of the iPhone Pro range. Earlier, in September, Apple Inc had stopped the production of new iPhone devices because of a decrease in demand.
