All eyes on fate of CPEC as PM Shehbaz leaves for China

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has flown to China on an official 2-day visit. He has gone to the neighbouring country at the request of his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang. Accompanying the premier on his visit are Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, Railways Minister Saad Rafique and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

The Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) tweeted the details of the visit and a video footage showing the delegation getting onboard the plane.

The premier took to Twitter to share that he would discuss the revitalisation of the Chinese-Pakistan Economic Corridor among many other things. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is also expected to meet the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
