After wreaking havoc in Florida, Hurricane Ian moves toward South Carolina

The state of Florida is in devastating condition after Hurricane Ian continued to cause severe destruction across the USA. The rescue operation is underway in Florida. Sources claim that ten people have died in southwest Charlotte County, while the overall death toll due to Hurricane Ian rises to 19. Earlier, the President of the USA, Joe Biden, also warned that the Hurricane could be the deadliest in Florida’s history. After causing huge damage in Floride Ian has started to crawl towards North and South Carolina.

Hurricane Ian first hit the country of Cuba on Tuesday, and over 269,000 houses are deprived of electricity. Subsequently, Puerto Rico was also affected, which was earlier hit by Hurricane Fiona on September 18. The state of Florida became the next victim where 2.2 million people were affected by the Category 4 Hurricane. According to the National Weather Service, Ian has been now been classified as Category 1 hurricane as it moves to South Carolina.
