ISLAMABAD: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will provide a loan worth $1.535 billion to Pakistan for investment in civic, health, and energy sectors.
According to the details, the two sides will sign a total of six agreements for the loan at the Economic Affairs Division. Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Omar Ayub Khan, and Vice-President of ADP will attend the signing ceremony.
Of the total loan of $1.535bn, $300 million will be utilised for financial sustainability and energy projects. A total of $600 million will be used in the Ehsaas programme, while $380 million in the City Improvement Investment Project of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
For the Central Asia Economic Transport Corridor Development Programme, an agreement of $235 million will be signed.
